Founded in 2004 by Paul Carew, Close Reach Communications, Inc., develops best of class mobile solutions that improve organization-client interactions with the ultimate goal of deepening those client/customer relationships. These consumer-friendly solutions, which are easily installed on mobile devices such as cell phones and PDAs, feature useful two-way communication tools that may be accessed anytime, anywhere. The first product developed by CRC, the ConsumerTouch Platform, allowed businesses to create branded, interactive “digital business cards.” These digital cards transcended traditional print communications, increased sales by generating more qualified sales leads, elicited more “word of mouth” advertising and recognition, and created higher consumer awareness. With tools originally developed for retail finance and real estate professionals, Close Reach Communications (CRC) was selected by Motorola in 2006 for its “AppStore” as one of only 20 initial “Non Gaming” product developers. ConsumerTouch was also offered and sold worldwide in Nokia’s “AppStore.” Following on the heels of this success, the company has now expanded into other areas and developed new products, most notably AttendeeTouch for the conference and professional events industry which debuted in 2007 and the new DonorReach suite for nonprofit organizations and associations. |
